What's an IP Address?
Think of an IP address like your home's mailing address, but for the internet! It's a unique set of numbers that helps other computers know exactly where to send your data.
Why do we need them?
Without an IP address, your devices wouldn't be able to talk to the internet. It's how websites know exactly where to send the pictures, videos, and web pages you want to see.
IPv4 vs. IPv6
